Vision
Constella Music is a company pursuing social good through ambitious, multi-genre projects stretching across performing, broadcasting, education and publishing.

Constella brings together like-minded collaborators, including musicians, visual artists, poets, historians, garden designers, architects, scientists, healthcare workers, and more.
The story so far
Founded in 2011, Constella Music is the company behind the award-winning composer and conductor Leo Geyer. ConstelIa is a production company for Leo's large and diverse portfolio: it publishes and performs Geyer’s works, which span opera, dance, film, and concert music, and supports growing portfolio in broadcasting.

Recently, Constella Music completed a major project to restore and perform long-forgotten music written in Auschwitz. The project had many different strands, including a broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and a Sky Arts documentary-film. Described by the Financial Times as "profoundly moving," it received a Digital Broadcast Award, won the award for Best Original Score at the Royal Television Society Craft & Design Awards, and was nominated for a BAFTA in the 2026 Sound: Factual category of the Craft Awards. Constella has given concert performances of Geyer's restorations in London, Paris, and Amsterdam, and released a recording on YouTube. The project culminated in the opera-ballet production The Lost Music of Auschwitz, which Constella premiered in June 2025 with choreography by Claudia Schreier. Constella is now planning to tour the production, and has recorded some of the music from the Sky Arts documentary for a forthcoming album release.
Geyer’s catalogue is published by Constella and is available on Nkoda, leading to performances by Opera Holland Park, London Sinfonietta, the Elmore Quartet, Theater Aachen, and others. Constella has recently premiered new music by Leo at both the Science Museum and the Courtauld Gallery. And, following the recent premiere with the Luxembourg Kammerata, Constella has also made a recording of Leo's restoration of the live cinema orchestra score for the Ukrainian silent film Man with a Movie Camera, the subject of a recent episode of The Essay on BBC Radio 3.
At Constella, we believe everyone has the right to enjoy and participate in music. Our award-winning virtual performance program, Connecting Stars, has provided over 2,000 bespoke music and dance performances for the UK’s most vulnerable individuals. As part of this initiative, we are delivering a program for students and emerging artists to increase access for diverse young people entering the performing arts. 2024 also saw the birth of the Constella Philharmonic, an orchestra that offers non-professional musicians opportunities to participate in elite-level performances undertaken a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
