Ellie Gaynard Evans is a freelance violinist and violin teacher based in
Manchester. She was classically trained and received a first class honours degree from the University of Manchester, but grew up surrounded by Celtic folk music. Ellie works with numerous orchestras, chamber ensembles and bands throughout the North West, including leading the Liverpool Mozart Orchestra, and is the musical director of Bellow Theatre company, based in Hull. She regularly plays for Irish folk sessions, ceilidhs and festivals alongside her classical engagements.
