Elinor Chambers 

Actress & Trombonist 

Elinor Chambers has a First Class degree in the trombone from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she was awarded the Concert Recital Diploma and the Brian Nisbet Early Music Prize. Elinor has since done an acting degree at LAMDA and particularly loves performing poetry and Shakespeare. Whilst at Guildhall she played alongside the London Symphony Orchestra, Academy of Ancient Music and Superbrass and has gone on to work with the London Mozart Players, Cuban-European Youth Academy and Women of the World Orchestra. She has worked widely as an actor-musician including the show Emilia at Shakespeare’s Globe and often composes the music for the theatrical productions she is in. She loves chamber music, in particular playing with her ensembles: Quintetta (a brass quintet) and Sacred Bones (a Sackbut and countertenor ensemble). Elinor is also a folk singer and performs traditional songs and sea shanties with her trio, The Mistakings.
